The Father’s Will

God is a Father that desires a personal eternal relationship with His family. In the beginning of creation He established this culture when He came down from Heaven on a daily basis at the end of every day to walk and talk with His son and daughter Adam and Eve. (Genesis 3:8) It was such a close, personal, family relationship that Adam and Eve recognized God by His voice. It takes “family-arity” to know a person by the sound of their voice. They must have spent time together, listened and talked to each other. God is a Person and has a distinctive sound and texture to His voice just like everybody else. (John 5:37) Adam and Eve were familiar with His voice and recognized it when they heard it even though God is invisible, and they had never seen Him personally with their physical eyes. (Genesis 3:10) Obviously God did not desire a distant and strange relationship with His children. He took the initiative to pursue this level of relationship with them, because He delighted in them and greatly valued them. (Proverbs 8:31) They were the first natural son and daughter made in His own image and likeness.

God is sovereign and so are His children. He respected their sovereign decision to believe the enemy’s lies against Him, just like He does today, but they paid a tremendous price for it. Not only did they lose their relationship with Him, but that one decision of disobedience caused them to lose their household, their job, and made the entire human race a dysfunctional family right up to the present moment. However, God was committed to them as any good parent would be, so when the enemy kidnapped their heart affections with the vanities in this world of pride and lust (I John 2:16), God made a personal promise to His enemy that He would destroy him, and restore the dominion that was stolen from His children. (Genesis 3:15)

The broken relationship between God and His children caused both Him and them great sorrow and heartache for 1,000’s of years. He had to suffer with the rebellious natures of their new spiritual father within them, and they were now spiritually dead to Him and alive to their enemy’s lusts, pride, fear, guilt, and shame. God started laboring day and night, seeking for a man or a woman that would give up this world’s vanities, and draw close enough to Him, so that He could reveal His heart and mind to them, empower them by His Spirit, speak through them as His mouthpiece, and work miracles through them as His hands and feet. (Genesis 6:3-8) (II Chronicles 16:9) (Acts 13:22). However, their rebellious hearts of unbelief limited what He could do through them, just like it does today, but after 4,000 years, God was finally able to make a legal way where He could step down on the scene and finish the job Himself. (Psalm 78:41) (Ezekiel 22:30) (Isaiah 59:15-17) The Eternal God came on the Earth to dwell with His children as Immanuel, God with us. The Omnipotent One became a weak man made of flesh. The Creator of the Universe became one of His own creation. The Everlasting Father was manifested in the world as one of His own sons, Jesus of Nazareth, because nothing is impossible for God. (Isaiah 9:6) (Matthew 1:23) (John 1:14) (I Timothy 3:16) (Luke 1:37)

The Father does not desire just to have a temporary and distant relationship with His children from afar like many parents do today. He desires His children to live with Him for all eternity. (John 14:2-3) The Architects of Society have perverted the family culture God ordained in the beginning, but in Ancient Eastern Culture the father provided for his wife and family until the children married, and even after the children married they remained in their father’s household, adding to it, strengthening, and establishing it as an honor to their father’s name. Just like in the olden days where entire streets and villages are called by the father’s name. The children were not in a hurry to leave their father and mother. It was an honor for them to live in their father’s home. (Judges 18:29)

Today, many parents have bought the lie of not teaching their children to honor their fathers and mothers. They do not train them in the ways of God, but instead they abdicate their responsibility to the State to “educate” them, and in their own self-centeredness, as soon as the children graduate one level of “education”, they send them out of their households for “higher education”, so that the State can further brainwash them with their rebellious and self-centered spirit. The children end up spending so much time being programmed with the liberal situational ethics of their surrogate father that they lose their true family identity, love, respect, and devotion to their father’s faith, and become insensitive and apathetic towards their parents, to the point that when they grow old they ship them into government programmed elderly care till they can seize on their inheritance. No honor given to them. God will not be mocked, if parents will not accept their God given responsibility to raise their children in the ways of God, He will use their own children to punish their disobedience. (Malachi 4:4-6) (I Samuel 2:27-36)

Jesus said, “I am come in my Father’s name, and you receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him you will receive.” (John 5:43)

Jesus is the ultimate example of a perfect Son’s relationship to His Father. He honored His Father till His last breath with love and respect by living according to His Father’s beliefs, commands, family edicts. and customs, seeking to build His Father’s name, posterity, and kingdom with His heart attitudes, words, actions, and lifestyle.

God ordained natural fathers to teach their children to honor them by their attitudes, words, actions, and lifestyle, because a good father selflessly loves, provides, teaches, trains, and protects his children. This is all in preparation for the children to have a right perspective and heart attitude towards their Heavenly Father God. Honor is worship. (Luke 14:10) God made men the head of their family, and He gave them a wife to help them lead the family, by establishing beliefs, attitudes, and a family culture for their children to live and grow up in. (Ephesians 5:22-33) (I Timothy 5:14) (Ephesians 6:1-4) However, the wife, the children, family in-laws, the government, educational teachers, medical and psychological practitioners do not have the right and responsibility to determine the way the family functions, the father does. God will hold the man responsible for what his wife and children believe and how they behave as long as they live within his household. (Genesis 3:17-19) If they leave the father’s home, then they step out outside of his jurisdiction and responsibility, but if they return and submit to their father’s counsel, then he becomes responsible for them as long as they are in his household. However, if they are rebellious in the attitudes and behavior then he must kick them out of his household just like God did to the rebellious angel, Lucifer. (Luke 10:18) (Deuteronomy 21:18-21) The blessing of God will not rest upon a house of rebellion. It will only come upon a man, a family, a household, a business, and a ministry that is governed according to His word. When the man is in order, his house will be in order. When his house is in order, the blessing of God will remain upon all that he possesses, and God will be able to fulfill His plan for the family. (Genesis 18:17-19) (I Samuel 3:13)

God the Father is looking for children that will honor Him for who He is, what He says, and what He does. Not for His own sake, but for their eternal good. The spirit of rebellion desires to enter the heart of children from birth to corrupt, pervert, and destroy them just like it did to Cain the first murder. God told Cain, “If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? and if you don’t do what is right, sin lies at the door, and unto you shall be his desire, and you should rule over him.” (Genesis 4:7) Good parents will correct their children to protect them from the enemy’s invasion. If children knew better God would not have given them parents. (Proverbs 23:13-14) Parents are responsible to teach and train their children in the right ways of God. (Proverbs 22:6) Parents that teach them to honor them by their heart attitudes of humility, trust, and obedience are raising children that will honor God the Father in true worship. (John 4:21-24)

Relationship with God is dependent upon divine faith. Divine faith only comes from divine revelation. Without divine revelation there can be no divine faith. Once God reveals His will to man He expects him to live in the light of that revelation, and holds him accountable to it, even to the point of eternal damnation for unbelief of His revealed will. (Luke 12:42-48) All religions are like little rebellious children coming up with their own ideas, beliefs, doctrines, traditions, and ritualistic behaviors, and expecting God to accept them into His household because of their sincere efforts of faith and prayers. All religions pray, but prayer does not impress God, faith and obedience to His revealed will does. Just as God rejected Cain’s self-willed religion so will He reject all religions that reject the divine revelation of His Son Jesus no matter how much they pray and go through their religious rituals. Humility to the divine revelation of God’s will is the only thing that produces divine faith. (Isaiah 66:1-2) (Proverbs 28:9) (Matthew 8:5-13) In the Gospels Jesus constantly condemned self-willed religion which rejects divine revelation for their own opinions and traditions. (Luke 7:29-35) The Father rules in His household of faith, because “Father Knows Best.” He is not another wimp following the dictates of his wife and children. He leads His wife and commands His children. They are true worshippers that honor Him by their agreement to His revelation of truth. Either you fall upon the Rock of Truth with a broken and contrite heart or the Rock falls upon you and grinds you to powder. (Matthew 21:28-44) (Esther 1:10-22) (Isaiah 3:12)

The Father desires His children to live in His household of faith in peace, prosperity, protection, rest, and assurance of His goodness, promises, and plans for them. Their obedience to His commands makes them wise and makes them a witness and a light to the ungodly, who live in fear, spiritual poverty, unrest, without hope and assurance of their lives, because they do not obey the revelation of His will. (Deuteronomy 4:5-9) (Isaiah 30:15-19) (Jeremiah 33:6-9)
